Rubén Ortiz Torres
Rubén Ortiz-Torres is an artist from Mexican City, now based in Los Angeles. His paintings, sculpture, photographs, video and multi-media performances have been presented extensively in museums and galleries internationally. He has been featured in numerous books and publications. A solo exhibition, Rubén Ortiz-Torres: Behind the Garage Funk, was shown at the Charles H. Scott Gallery in the fall of 2003.
